Simple File Encryptor is my favorite free to use file encryption software for windows.   The Encrypt box feature is set to one of my dropbox folders to secure my files in the cloud.  Looking forward to more features.  5/5

Wow! After trying a bunch of other tools i stick with this one! its so easy to use that i actually will use it, and that is half the win already:)
In my case i simply use it to make a secure usb drive in case i loose it. thats all i wanted, and this tool does exactly that. other tools got me very confused with all the tech talk :)
A few notes :
  • The link to your feedback page on sourceforge is incorrect
  • Why not add bitcoin donations :)
  • One question: the files that are deleted after encryption, are they securely deleted? i can imagine someone finding these back with a disk repair tool

Thank you Erik for your feedback.  It's been a while between updates for SFE but after your comments I think I will start some more development on it.
Thanks for your notes.  I have fixed the link on sourceforge and will look into bitcoin. 
The files that are deleted after encryption are NOT securly deleted.  Yes you are right, someone could recover those files with freeware software.  I will look at adding that functionality into an upcoming update.
